AMSTERDAM – Na een reeks succesvolle concerten slaan Sunroom Sessions en Beatles-tributeband One After 909 nog één keer de handen ineen. Op het dak van Floor17 in Amsterdam wordt deze zomer de laatste voorstelling gespeeld van een compacte tour die in de eerste helft van 2026 langs verschillende Nederlandse podia trok.
De samenwerking begon eerder dit jaar in het Leidse Volkshuis, waar het repertoire van The Beatles werd teruggebracht tot de essentie: sterke songs, meerstemmige zang en een directe verbinding met het publiek. Met One After 909 kiest Sunroom Sessions bewust voor een benadering die dichter bij de oorspronkelijke energie van de legendarische Britse band staat dan bij een traditionele tribute-show.
Voor de slotavond verhuist het gezelschap naar een van de meest opvallende concertlocaties van Amsterdam. Op het dak van Floor17, met uitzicht over de stad, komen klassiekers als Let It Be, Here Comes The Sun en Hey Jude samen in een setting die past bij de zomerse afsluiting van de tour.
De voorstelling markeert tevens het einde van de eerste concerthelft van 2026 voor Sunroom Sessions. Na eerdere uitverkochte edities in kerken, theaters en bijzondere locaties kiest de organisatie opnieuw voor een plek waar live muziek en beleving centraal staan.
De rooftopshow op Floor17 vormt daarmee niet alleen het slotstuk van een Beatles-reeks, maar ook een viering van een seizoen vol bijzondere concerten.
AMSTERDAM – After a run of successful concerts, Sunroom Sessions and Beatles tribute band One After 909 join forces one more time. This summer, the rooftop of Floor17 in Amsterdam hosts the final show of a compact tour that travelled across several Dutch stages in the first half of 2026.
The collaboration began earlier this year at the Volkshuis in Leiden, where The Beatles' repertoire was stripped back to its essence: strong songs, multi-part harmonies and a direct connection with the audience. With One After 909, Sunroom Sessions deliberately chooses an approach closer to the original energy of the legendary British band than a traditional tribute show.
For the closing night, the group moves to one of Amsterdam's most striking concert locations. On the roof of Floor17, overlooking the city, classics such as Let It Be, Here Comes The Sun and Hey Jude come together in a setting that suits the summery end of the tour.
The show also marks the end of the first concert half of 2026 for Sunroom Sessions. After earlier sold-out editions in churches, theatres and special venues, the organisation again chooses a place where live music and experience take centre stage.
The rooftop show at Floor17 is therefore not only the finale of a Beatles series, but also a celebration of a season full of special concerts.
